Damascus, SANA – Damascus Countryside governorate distributed food aid to the locals in al-Tal city within the framework of the Syrian government’s plan to distribute food packages to the needy in areas particularly the besieged ones by takfiri terrorist organizations.
Deputy Damascus Countryside Governor Rateb Adas said in a statement to SANA that the relief subcommittee sent on Thursday nine trucks loaded with various types of food, medical and relief aid to the locals in al-Tal.
The distributed aid included 4000 food packages, 4000 flour bags and 16000 canned food, he added.
Damascus Countryside Governorate in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) distributed earlier this month 7000 food and health packages to the locals.
Damascus Countryside Governorate continues distribution of aid to all needy families in implementation of the plans of the Syrian government to deliver aid to all areas.
