Jeddah, SANA- Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Asaad al-Shaibani, participated on Sunday in the AlUlA Conference for Emerging Markets Economies held in al-Ula city in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the conference,the lifting of sanctions to enable Syria to prosper and recover economically, and a roadmap for the economic vision in Syria were discussed.
The conference addressed the reintegration of the Central Bank of Syria into the international system, and representing Syria in the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
The conference also addressed exploring technical assistance from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani met with Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan on the sidelines of the conference.
