Syrian doctors in Germany express readiness to support health sector with advanced equipment

Damascus, SANA- Acting Minister of Health Dr.Maher al-Sharaa met on Wednesday with 15 doctors from the Syrian community in Germany and they discussed ways to enhance cooperation in health field .

Minister al-Sharaa stressed the importance of boosting cooperation with Syrian organizations and communities abroad in order to support health projects in Syria and restore the damage suffered by health facilities.

During the meeting held at the ministry, doctors confirmed their seeking to support the dilapidated health sector in various specialties, logistically, technically and academically, to advance it by establishing partnerships between Syrian and German health facilities, exchanging expertise between doctors there, and training and qualifying medical cadres.

At the end of the meeting, they said that they would soon make visits to hospitals and health centers to keep abreast of their needs.
