Damascus, SANA- Syria will be affected by a very cold polar mass starting next Friday, and its effects will continue until the end of February, with temperatures lower than their annual averages by about 10 to 13 degrees.
“The polar mass will be accompanied by snowfall next Saturday morning in the western countryside of Damascus, with snow showers in the center, the coast, and Sweida southern region, the snow forecast remains subject to change, negatively or positively, until the morning of Friday, February 21st, in light of the position of this polar mass,” experts in the weather Early Warning office of Syrian Civil Defense told SANA.
According to the meteorology experts, all Syrian regions will witness extremely cold weather next week with frost forming in all areas. The coastal areas will also witness low temperatures approaching zero degrees Celsius.
