Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will rise to become 3 to 6 degrees above average as the country is under the influence of a high air pressure system.
The Meteorology Department expected stable weather conditions in general, according to its Wednesday bulletin, noting that it is going to be cold during the night and that the skies will be clear.
The department warned of frost forming over the mountainous and some inland areas.
The winds will be mostly northwesterly of low speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 20/03, Aleppo 15/02, Homs 20/04, Hama 21/04, Idleb 15/03, Hasaka 17/05, Raqqa 18/04, Daraa 19/04, Sweida 15/04 and Lattakia 23/11.
