SBMS launches a medical relief campaign titled a “Smile of Freedom” in Homs province

Homs,SANA-Syrian British Medical Society (SBMS) recently launched a medical relief campaign titled “Smile of Freedom,” which offers free dental treatment to the most affected groups, including families of martyrs, wounded, missing persons, and displaced persons in Homs province.

Head of the campaign, Dr. Tamam al-Boushi Adi, said in a statement to a SANA reporter that the initiative came on the occasion of liberation and victory, and it is expected to serve about 300 patients from Homs.

In turn, Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Muhammad Qusay Al-Munjed, pointed out that the campaign was carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Dr. Al-Munjed noted that the campaign included 10 doctors who will work to secure dental treatments for the most pressing segment of society, noting that the initiative has enhanced volunteerism and humanity and has provided a great motivation for many doctors to undertake similar initiatives.
