Pristina, SANA- Kosovo President Vuša Osmani announced her country’s readiness to open new chapters of cooperation with Syria, noting that the two countries share the same wounds and the pain of war and reconstruction.
In a post on her Facebook page, Osmani said: “The people of Kosovo and Syria have suffered greatly in their struggle for freedom and faced the crimes of dictatorial regimes, and today, we held our first meeting with the President of Free Syria, Ahmad al-Sharaa, to open new chapters of cooperation between our two countries.”
“Kosovo and Syria share the same wounds: the pain of war, displacement, and the challenges of reconstruction, and we are ready to share our experience in building democratic institutions,” Osmani added.
