Temperatures to drop, weather partly cloudy

Damascus,SANA- Temperatures continue to drop to become 2 to 4 degrees below average, while become around average or slightly higher in the eastern regions, al-Jazeera and al-Badia as the country is affected by an Indian seasonal low air pressure accompanied by southwesterly currents in the upper layers of atmosphere.

Meteorology department expected in its Monday bulletin that the weather will between clear and partly cloudy in general, with the chance of showers in the coastal region and the southern region while it will be misty in the eastern regions, al-Jazeera and al-Badia.

The winds will be westerly to southeasterly in the coastal and southern regions and westerly to northwesterly in the rest regions, and the sea waves will be medium to high in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 30/16, Daraa 30/18, Homs 29/13, Hasaka 37/23 , Tartous 30/25 , Aleppo 32/20, Idleb 28/18 , Deir Ezzor 36/24 .
