Damascus, SANA – Temperatures will continue to rise to become above average by 4 to 6 degrees, as the country is affected by superficial low air pressure accompanied by southeastern air currents in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot as the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds, while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badia (desert) areas.
The winds will be westerly of low speed and the sea waves will be moderate in height.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 39/19, Daraa 37/18, Homs 37/18, Lattakia 28/21, Aleppo 40/18 and Deir Ezzor 43/21.
