Beirut, SANA- Hezbollah issued late Sunday a statement to mourn the Head of its Media Relations Department, Mohammad Afif, who was martyred Sunday in Israeli airstrike on Ras al-Nabaa area in Beirut.
It is noteworthy that martyr Afif is the son of prominent Muslim Scholar Sheikh Afif al-Nabulsi. He was born in Bissariyeh, one of the villages of Jabal Amel near the city of Sidon.
He is considered one of the most important media figures of Hezbollah, and he was tasked to convey critical messages and ideas to the public during the hard times.
Martyr Afif was the media advisor of the former Secretary-General of Hezbollah, martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, for several years, and then he served as head of Media Relations Department from 2014 until his martyrdom on Sunday.
