Pakistani aid plane for comers from Lebanon arrives at Damascus Airport

Damascus. SANA- A Pakistani plane landed at Damascus International Airport loaded with 16 tons of humanitarian aid for comers from Lebanon.

Pakistani Deputy Ambassador Umer Hayat Khan said that the plane carrying 16 tons of medical, food, and relief items out of 80 tons which will arrive successively in batches on Pakistani planes provided by the Pakistani people and government to the comers from Lebanon.

He added that all the aid is delivered to the Higher Relief Committee, which in turn distributes it to those who deserve it in coordination with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent(SARC).

He thanked the Syrian government, Local Administration and Environment Ministry, and SARC for distributing the aid to the beneficiaries.
