Iranian-Syrian relations close and strategic, Iranian Foreign Ministry says

Tehran, SANA- Iranian Foreign Ministry (IFM) affirmed that the Iranian-Syrian relations are strong and strategic.

“The Syrian-Iranian relations are close and being followed up at the strategic levels”, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said.

 Regarding Vienna talks, Khatibzadeh noted that the emphasis will be placed on an effective and full lifting of the sanctions imposed on Iran which contradict the nuclear deal.

He noted that at the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi would travel to Tehran soon to hold talks with head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI).
