Damascus, SANA – About 800 businessmen and tradesmen from Iraq, Libya, Algeria, Lebanon and Kuwait have confirmed their attendance to visit “Made in Syria” exhibition scheduled for mid-February , Head of the Exporters’ Union Mohammed al-Sawah said .
He added that the exhibition provides a valuable opportunity to enhance the reputation of Syrian products and introducing them into the Libyan and African markets after the success achieved in the Iraqi markets.
Al-Sawah mentioned that 250 local companies from different Syrian provinces will showcase their products in the exhibition.
“The title of the exhibition “Made in Syria” has been chosen to support the national industry and stress Syria’s recovery following the terrorist war waged on the country, said al-Sawah.
“Made in Syria” for clothing textiles, production supplies and leather exhibition is scheduled between February 15 and 18 at Damascus new Fairgrounds City.
The exhibition is organized by the Syrian Exporters’ Union and the Damascus and Damascus Countryside Industry Chamber in cooperation with Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade.
