Monthly shopping festival “Made in Syria” kicks off in Lattakia

Lattakia, SANA – Monthly shopping festival “Made in Syria” kicked off on Thursday with the participation of 120 companies from several provinces and different sectors at Alma Hotel in Lattakia.

Talal Khalaaji, member of the Board of Directors of Damascus Chamber of Industry and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the festival, said that this year will witness large numbers of festivals” as the organizing committee will arrange three festivals in three provinces during a month, as well as launching such an event in new provinces like Hama, Homs and Aleppo.

Director of the festival Mohammad al-Omar added that the event is providing purchase vouchers to martyrs’ families, in addition to drawing lots on golden medals to the visitors.

Urouba Marwa, the hotel manager affirmed that the hotel is working on providing all possible facilitation in order to insure a comfortable atmosphere for the participating industrialists in this event.

The festival displays all kinds of local industries and hand-made products with 25% sale.
