Damascus, SANA- Health Minister Nizar Yazigi said the Ministry seeks to restore medicine industry to its high-level quality that it reached before the terrorist war on Syria through rehabilitating damaged medical factories and licensing new ones.
The Minister, meeting a delegation of Arab Pharmacists’ Union on Tuesday, said the majority of the damaged medical factories are back to service partly or totally, adding that two new factories entered production and Syria is still exporting medicines to 16 countries.
“The health sector in Syria has started a new stage of recovery and it has provided all treatment and preventive services to citizens free of charge,” the Minister said.
