Damascus, SANA – Colleague Mohammad Salman Nassr was martyred on Saturday morning during fulfilling the sacred duty of defending the homeland against terrorism in the course of the Syrian Arab Army’s battles on southern Raqqa front.
Journalist Nassr was born in Tartous Province in 1983 and holds a Bacherlor’s Degree in English Literature. He worked as a translator and a news editor in the Syrian Arab News Agency since 2009 until he joined army services in 2016.
Martyr Nassr participated in the military operations of the Syrian Army in different parts of the eastern countryside of Aleppo Province before he was tasked with his military unit to fight against ISIS terrorists in the southern countryside of Raqqa, where he was martyred today.
Colleague Nassr was devoted in his job as a chief editor at the English Bulletin Department, and he was cooperative in all the tasks mandated to him during his work at SANA.
Nassr’s colleagues in the military services affirm his bravery and courage in all the battles he participated in.
