Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue to rise to become around average or slightly higher as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and the wind will be southeasterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
On Friday and Saturday, the temperatures will continue to rise to become from 2 to 4 degrees above average.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 24/10, Daraa 22/10, Homs 19/7, Lattakia 22/11, Aleppo 19/8 and Deir Ezzor 21/10.
