Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will slightly drop to become around or below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general with a chance of thundershowers over almost all areas, while the weather continues to be misty in the eastern, al-Jazira and al-Badia (desert) areas.
The winds will be changeable to northeasterly of low to moderate speed, and the sea waves will be low in height.
Rainfalls were witnessed in a number of areas and provinces in the past hours with varying amounts, the heaviest being in al-Haramoun in Damascus Countryside (5 mm).
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 25/11, Daraa 26/12, Homs 26/12, Lattakia 29/16, Aleppo 27/13 and Deir Ezzor 28/14.
