Provinces, SANA-The army and armed forces continued on Saturday their crackdown against armed terrorist groups in different Syrian regions, seizing and destroying their weapons and killing many of them
Homs
The Syrian Air Force killed and injured many terrorists from ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra in airstrikes targeting their gatherings and movements in the countryside of Homs province.
A military source said that the Syrian Air Force lunched intensified airstrikes against ISIS gatherings in the surroundings of al-Shaer oil field, to the south of the third station, and al-Talila nature reserve in Palmyra countryside, which resulted in killing and injuring scores of terrorists and destroying vehicles and bases along with all weapons inside them.
Later, the source said that army units carried out operations against ISIS terrorists in Huwaisis and al-Tuloul al-Tabi’iya in the surroundings of al-Shaer field, killing and injuring many terrorists.
The source also said that an army unit thwarted an attack by ISIS terrorists on Jub al-Jarrah hatcheries around 73 km east of Homs city.
In the northern countryside of Homs, the Syrian Air Force destroyed gatherings and vehicles of Jabhat al-Nusra and other groups affiliated to it in Ghunaiman, Ezz Edin, Um Sharshouh and Talbiseh.
Hama
In the neighboring Hama province, army units combed the town of Maan in the northern countryside of the province after establishing control over the town on Thursday.
The military source told SANA that the army engineering units dismantled tens of explosive devices and mines in the farms of Ma’an town, 40 km to the north of Hama City before scores of terrorists were killed and the remnants fled away.
The source added that while combing the farms surrounding Maan town, army units seized 3 mortar launching pads, three 120-mm mortar cannons, about 50 mortar shells and a huge amount of gunpowder used in making explosives.
In the meantime, the Syrian Air Force hit gatherings of Jaish al-Fatah terrorists in Maardes, Souran, Tibet al-Imam, al-Latamina and al-Masasina in the northern countryside of Hama province, leaving many of them dead.
A number of command centers, tanks and vehicles for Jaish al-Fatah terrorists were hit and destroyed in army air strikes to the west of Atshan, in Skeik and to the north of Mourek in the northernmost countryside of the province near the border with Idleb.
Aleppo
An army unit killed many members of a terrorist group who were positioned inside a tunnel in the vicinity of Aleppo Citadel in Aleppo city.
Idleb
The Air Force destroyed positions and vehicle convoys of Jaish al-Fatah terrorists in al-Tamaniaa in southern Idleb and in al-Najyeh and Hallouz in Jisr al-Shugour area in southwestern Idleb.
Later, a military source said the Syrian Air Force destroyed many vehicles equipped with machineguns along with the terrorists on board in Ma’aret al-Nu’man, Hallouz, and Joseph in Idleb countryside.
Lattakia
The Syrian Air Force killed a number of terrorists in Qarfous, Point 1101 and Point 1154 in the northern countryside of Lattakia province.
Later, Later, a military source said the Syrian Air Force targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Dahret al-Deghli, al-Khaneq, Kafr Sando, and Kenzo Mountain in Lattakia’s northern countryside, destroying their bases and eliminating a number of them.
Daraa
In the southern Daraa province, army units fired artillery shells on two Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist groups in the northern foothills of Tuloul Khleif in the eastern countryside of the southern Daraa province, killing and injuring all members of the groups and destroying vehicles, mortars and an artillery for them.
In Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa city, the army units destroyed a machine gun position and a bulldozer for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and killed and injured many of them in al-Nazihin Camp.
Sweida
An army unit responded to a rocket attack launched by terrorist groups on the army units operating in al-Thaala village and airport, 10 km west of Sweida city in southern Syria.
The military source confirmed that the army unit inflicted losses upon the attacking terrorists, leaving many of them dead or wounded.
Deir Ezzor
In eastern Syria, the Syrian Air Force hit movements and gatherings of ISIS terrorists in al-Hamidiyeh, the Panorama, al-Orfi and to the north of Tal Brouk in Deir Ezzor province, leaving a number of them dead or wounded.
