Damascus, SANA – Speaker of the People’s Assembly Hadiyeh Abbas discussed on Saturday with members of the Assembly’s office and committees’ heads and members of the constitutional committee the proposals submitted for amending articles of the Assembly’s statute and the reasons for amendment.

Abbas earlier stressed that the proposals regarding amendment of some of the statute’s articles will be put forth to the Assembly for vote and approval by majority.
