Damascus, SANA- Temperatures remain above average from 1to 3 degrees as the country is still affected by a seasonal Indian low air pressure accompanied by a subtropical high air pressure at the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot and the skies clear in general, while it will be misty and very hot in the eastern, al- Jazira and al-Badia (desert) areas.
The department said that the winds will be northwesterly of low to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 38/21, Daraa 36/20, Homs 33/21, Hama 38/22, Lattakia 30/20,
Aleppo 38/21 and Deir Ezzor 43/27.
