Tehran, SANA – Former Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hussein Amir Abdullahian stressed his country’s strong support to Syria in its war against terrorism, stressing that the real solution to the crisis in Syria basically relies on the political solution and counterterrorism.
In a statement Thursday, Abdullahian said the Takfiri terrorists are agents of Zionism, pointing out to the necessity of supporting the resistance axis to preserve the security of the region.
He continued to say that the U.S. meddling and the continuation of the intelligence and military means against Syria lead to the increase of the phenomenon of terrorism and the immigration to the west.
The Iranian official clarified that the Saudi regime exercises a destructive role in Syria, asserting that such behavior does not serve but the Israeli expansionist goals in the region.
