Damascus, SANA – Temperatures will continue to drop to be around average in most areas as the country is slightly affected by the Indian low air pressure system.
In its Tuesday bulletin, the Meteorology Department expected typical summery weather to prevail in the country, with clear skies in general and a chance of local rain showers in the coastal and northwestern areas.
In the eastern and al-Badiya (desert) and al-Jazeera areas, the weather will be hot and misty.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly of light to moderate speed, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 33/24, Daraa 33/22, Homs 31/19, Lattakia 29/22, Aleppo 34/24 and Deir Ezzor 41/27.
