Damascus, SANA – The National Commission for the Syrian Science Olympiad set the 18th of March as the date for selecting the teams which will represent Syria in international competitions in 2016.
112 of the best students from across the country who competed in the Syrian Scientific Olympiad in the 3 past years will undertake 4 hours of exams to qualify for the national teams.
The teams that will be formed by these exams will compete in the following events in 2016: the International Mathematical Olympiad in Hong Kong, the International Physics Olympiads in Switzerland, International Chemistry Olympiad in Georgia, International Informatics Olympiad in Russia, and the International Biology Olympiad in Vietnam.
