Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will continue to rise to become 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by a high air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds.
The wind will be southeasterly of light to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 17/5, Daraa 17/6, Homs 17/6, Hama 18/5, Hasaka 15/6, Lattakia 20/10, Aleppo 15/4 and Deir Ezzor 18/6.
