Havana, SANA –Cuban President Raul Castro reiterated that the Organization of Solidarity of the Peoples of Africa, Asia and Latin America (OSPAAAL) will continue supporting the free peoples in those countries in the face of the imperial conspiracy.
In a congratulation cable on the 50th anniversary of establishing OSPAAAL, read by head of the International Affairs Department at Central Committee of the Communist Party Jose Ramon Balaguer Cabrera , Castro affirmed OSPAAAL’s stance by the Syrian and Palestinian peoples in the face of the imperial Zionist conspiracy , calling on the organization to continue its struggle and to keep its thoughts and principles.
For her part, Lourdes Cervantes, Secretary General of OSPAAAL reaffirmed the organization’s solidarity with Syria in confronting the Imperial Zionist enemy since more than four years.
“Since the beginning of the aggression on Syria, OSPAAAL asserted its solidarity with the Syrian people who defend their sovereignty, dignity, independence and territorial integrity,” Lourdes told SANA reporter.
She denounced terrorism which Syria is exposing to and the crimes committed by the terrorist organizations against the Syrian people.
