Cuba, Venezuela condemn aggression on Iranian consulate in Damascus

Havana, Caracas, SANA- Cuba has strongly slammed the Israeli aggression on Iranian consulate in Damascus, warning of the consequences of these acts that violate the Syrian sovereignty and the international law.

“We strongly condemn Israel’s attack on Iran’s diplomatic facilities in Damascus in flagrant violation of Syrian sovereignty and International Law. These unacceptable actions increase the risk of escalation and regionalization of the conflict with unpredictable consequences,” Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, said in a post on the X platform.

In turn, Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Ivan Gil Pinto, also condemned the Israeli aggression, stressing his country’s solidarity with the peoples and governments of Iran and Syria.

Venezuela strongly condemns the attack launched by “Israel” on the Iranian consulate, which stressed the irrationality of the Zionist entity, which has become the largest source of instability in the region, according to a statement quoted by Radio Havana Cuba website.

Minister Gil Pinto, affirms Venezuela’s solidarity with the peoples and governments of Iran and Syria.
