Syria and Pakistan discuss enhancing educational cooperation

Damascus, SANA- Education Minister Dr. Hazwan al-Waz discussed with Pakistani ambassador in Damascus Syed Athar Hussain Bukhari means of enhancing cooperation between Syria and Pakistan.

Minister al-Waz reviewed the losses of the educational sector in Syria during the current crisis due to the attacks by armed terrorist organizations, affirming interest in the future of every Syrian child through the regularity of the school year and providing the best conditions for the success of the educational process, stability and development of educational curricula and teaching methods.

Minister al-Waz pointed out the importance of the Pakistan’s educational system, its successful experience and the need for specialists to be familiar with it at the National Center for the development of the educational curricula.

In turn, Bukhari thanked the ministry for its cooperation, particularly regarding the Pakistani School in Damascus.

Bukhari also expressed willingness to provide the school with qualified educational staff and Pakistan’s readiness to develop cooperation in exchanging educational courses.
