Syrian-Iraqi talks on boosting cooperation in the oil field

Doha, SANA- Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Firas Qaddour, met Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and the Iraqi Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul Ghani al-Sawad, on the sidelines of the 12th Arab Energy Conference in Doha.

Talks during the meeting dealt with issues of common interest in the fields of oil, gas and energy, in a way that serves the common interests between the two countries.

A set of ideas and visions were also presented for future projects of cooperation between the two countries in the oil, gas and energy sectors.

The two sides affirmed their commitment to enhance joint cooperation, continuing dialogue and exchanging ideas and experiences in these fields.
