Egypt: Israeli attacks on Syria are a flagrant violation of international law

Cairo, SANA-Egypt condemned in the strongest terms the recent Israeli attacks on several sites in Syrian territory, stressing that they constitute a new blatant violation of international law and a flagrant assault on the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the Syrian state.

“Egypt calls on international actors to assume their responsibilities regarding repeated Israeli violations, compel Israel to end its occupation of Syrian territory, and respect the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.” The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Thursday, posted on its official Facebook page.
