Riyadh, SANA- Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) condemned the repeated Israeli attacks on Syrian territory, calling on the international community to take concrete steps to stop them.
In a statement, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) , Jasem Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, expressed his strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli occupation forces’ raids on several sites in the Syrian Arab Republic, which resulted in a number of deaths and injuries.
Al-Budaiwi stressed that “these raids constitute a new episode in the series of attempts by the Israeli occupation forces to undermine and destabilize regional and international security,” emphasizing “the importance of respecting the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic.”
The Secretary-General of the Council noted that “the international community’s silence regarding repeated Israeli attacks encourages their continuation,” calling for “concrete steps to be taken to halt them, in the interest of security and peace in the region.”
