Beirut, SANA – The main goal of the two terrorist suicide explosions hit Burj el-Barajneh area in Beirut city is igniting sedition in Lebanon, Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Party Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said Saturday.
Twin suicide bombings, just minutes apart hit during rush hour in the commercial and residential area of Burj el-Barajneh, Beirut city on Friday, killing and injuring dozens of innocent civilians.
The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist organization quickly claimed responsibility for the explosions.
In a televised speech, Nasrallah hailed the awareness of the Lebanese people in foiling those schemes which serve the Zionist and the ISIS terrorist organization’s project.
Hezbollah leader said that the Lebanese police and intelligence apparatus arrested a number of people who are involved in the two terrorist bombings, asserting that network responsible on the logistic level for the explosions, is in the hands of the Lebanese security.
He affirmed ISIS responsibility for the explosions as those who were arrested confessed that they were ordered by the ISIS terrorist organization.
Facing such kind of terrorist operations is not enough by precautionary measures, which remain necessary, but we must seek the sources of the booby-trapping and killing networks and arrest the masterminds of the terrorist operations, Nasrallah said.
He pointed out that the terrorists aim at fueling sedition between the Lebanese people and Palestinians, namely between the inhabitants of Burj el-Barajneh and the adjacent al-Burj Camp and later the Palestinian camps.
The terrorist organizations, mainly the ISIS, have no future and will end soon because their project is based on the killing and destruction, Hezbollah Secretary-General said, adding those organizations have no program for a state, a life , coexistence nor recognizing or accepting the others.
He pointed out that the Syrian and Iraqi battlefields prove the decline of the ISIS capability, asserting that those who supported, protected and sponsored the terrorist organizations have discovered the monster they have raised.
Over Paris terrorist attacks, Hezbollah leader voiced his and his party’s condemnation of the terrorist attacks, carried out by ISIS terrorist organization in Paris of Friday, expressing condolences and humanitarian, sympathetic and ethical solidarity with all the innocents who were targeted by the ISIS brutal management and criminals.
He pointed out that the peoples of the region under the brutality of ISIS are the most aware of the grave calamity targeted the French people.
