Provinces, SANA – Tens of terrorists, more than 40 of them, were killed on Monday as the army units carried out intensive operations against their positions and hideouts, backed up by the army’s air force.
Idleb
40 terrorists from the so called Jaish al-Fateh killed
The army’s air force carried out airstrikes against hideouts and vehicles of the so-called Jaish al-Fateh terrorists in a number of villages in Ariha area in the southern countryside of the northern Idleb province.
A military source told SANA that the airstrikes took place in the villages of al-Mozarah, Arnabeh, Bailoun and Marata, stressing that the terrorists there suffered heavy losses.
Meanwhile, field sources told SANA that 40 terrorists from Jaish al-Fateh were killed during army operations that targeted their hideouts near al-Shami Hospital in central Ariha.
Aleppo
Army units clashed with ISIS terrorists near the air force academy in Aleppo countryside, killing and injuring scores of them and destroying their weapons and a number of machinegun-equipped vehicles.
Lattakia
11 terrorists, including 3 Turks killed
In the neighboring Lattakia province, 11 terrorists, including 3 Turks, were killed and 5 armored vehicles were
destroyed during army operations in Wadi Basour village in the northern countryside.
Homs
Army units killed a number of ISIS terrorists and injured others near Jazal oil field, 15 kilometers to the west of Palmyra city during the past 24 hours.
Field sources told SANA reporter that army units clashed with ISIS terrorists who infiltrated towards Jazal oil field.
The clashes resulted in deaths and injuries in the ranks of the terrorist organization, while the others fled towards the Syrian desert(Badiya).
Army units clashed with terrorists of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in the surroundings of al-Bayarat area, 10 km to the west of Palmyra city in the central Homs province.
11 terrorists were killed in the clashes, in addition to seizing amounts of weapons and ammunition.
Daraa
In the southern region, an army unit killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition during army operations in the northern hill of Zamrin village, 60 km north of Daraa city.
Another army unit carried out an “accurate” operation in which it targeted terrorists’ positions to the south of Zenobia School in the neighborhood of Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city, killing and injuring a number of them.
Sweida
In the neighboring province of Sweida, a unit of the army and armed forces killed scores of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria “ISIS” terrorists at the northeastern countryside of Sweida province Monday.
An army unit killed and injured scores of ISIS terrorists, destroyed their hideouts, weapons and ammunition at Tal and Kherbet Sa’ad in the northeastern countryside of the province, according to the military source.
Two days ago, an army unit, in cooperation with public defense forces killed a number of ISIS terrorists at the surroundings of Sa’ad village.
Damascus Countryside
Army units in cooperation with the Lebanese Resistance continue to gain more ground in the battle against terrorist organizations in al-Zabadani city.
Field sources told SANA that army units carried out an accurate operation during which they established control over the building of the Commercial Bank and a number of building blocks in al-Mahatta neighborhood in the eastern part of al-Zabadani city.
The operation resulted in killing a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and the so-called Ahrar al-Sham movement.
This comes 24 hours after establishing control over al-Seilan roundabout, the bus station and a number of building blocks to the south east of the city.
Elsewhere in the province, an army unit destroyed a factory where rocket and mortar shells are being made by terrorists in Deir al-Assafeir in eastern al-Ghouta of Damascus countryside.
Field sources told SANA that the army unit killed many terrorists inside the factory, among them were Mahdi al-Najar, Firas al-Itouni, Mohsen al-Kiswani and Samer al-Bakar.
In Harasta, anther army unit eliminated terrorists who were positioned in al-Ajami neighborhood, among them were Sudanese Make’e Moheb Allah, Jordanian Abdul-Rahman al-Sakal and Palestinian Suleiman Dabbour.
Meanwhile, the army’s operations in Alya farms in Douma ended up with the killing of terrorists Mohammad al-Fostoki, and Safi Aybour and the destruction of several weapons.
In western al-Ghouta, the army established control over three buildings in al-Jamiat neighborhood in Daraya city after eliminating all terrorists who were inside.
An army unit also targeted hideouts of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Beit Jin town in the countryside of Damascus, leaving a number of terrorists dead or injured.
