Damascus, SANA- 410 students of the basic education stage from various provinces participated in the physics and chemistry tests within the second round of 2024 Science Olympiad for children from 5th to 8th grade.
Head of the Distinction and Creativity Agency Ahmad Mansour said that the students participating in the test who passed the first stage tests.
Mansour added that the tests included questions measuring the student’s intellectual skills within scientific concepts inspired by previously published scientific topics.
2,510 students took the mathematics test on June 8th, while 890 students took the science test on June 22nd also in the university centers of the provinces.
The competition includes three rounds, the first of which are online tests, the second are the tests in the provinces, while the third ones are the final qualifications due to be held on August.
