Damascus, SANA- “We will rebuild what have been destroyed by the criminal groups….Preserving the Syrian historical monuments and buildings is one of the tasks of the distinguished and innovative Syrian students who graduate from the Faculty of Architectural Engineering,” Rector of Damascus University Mohammad Hassan al-Kurdi said.
The remarks came during a commencement held at Damascus University Auditorium to celebrate the graduation of 150 students from the Architectural Engineering Faculty.
Al-Kurdi hoped that the graduates will deliver a message to the whole world that Syria is proud of its heritage and of its present and that they will contribute to building the homeland.
For his part, Dean of Architectural Engineering Faculty Mohammad Yasar Abdin said that the Syrian architectural engineers are main axes in building the human civilization.
The graduated students pledged to build their homeland and to defend it side by side with the Syrian Arab Army.
