Material damage in terrorist attacks in Damascus, Sweida

Damascus/Sweida, SANA – The armed terrorist organizations on Sunday targeted Abu Rummaneh and al-Jahez areas in Damascus, as well as Harasta neighborhood in Damascus countryside with mortar shells, causing material damage.

Terrorist attacks caused material damage to four cars near Bader mosque in al-Jahez area and a house near the Saudi embassy in Abu Rummaneh area, a police source told SANA.

In Damascus Countryside, three mortar shells fell on Harasta neighborhood in the north entrance to Damascus, causing material damage to a number of cars.

Terrorist attack with mortar shells on al-Soura al-Kabeera in Sweida

Terrorists positioned in al-Lajat area targeted with mortar shells al-Soura al-Kabira well to the north of Sweida province on Saturday midnight causing great material damage to the well which came out of service.

The terrorist attack completely destroyed the upper tank of the well and caused material damage to the building and equipment, Eng. Adham Abu Lateef ,water resources manager in Sweida told SANA, noting that the well was used for irrigation purposes before being used to provide the village with water over the last months.

Al-Soura al-Kabira village is located between Daraa and Sweida near al-Lajat rocky rugged area where terrorists hide in caves and cliffs and launch terrorist attacks on the residents of villages and towns between Daraa and Sweida countryside.
