A Libyan plane loaded with medical aid arrives at Lattakia International Airport

Lattakia, SANA- A Libyan plane carrying a batch of medical aid that includes 25 tons of medical materials and equipment to help quake-affected people arrived on Tuesday at Lattakia International Airport coming from Benghazi.

“The Libyan plane carries medical equipment and materials on board, including intensive care beds, sponge mattresses, electric wheelchairs, baby wheelchairs, crutches, medical wheelchairs, two intensive care devices, in addition to various medical medicines,” Ziad al-Tawil, Director of Lattakia Airport said in a statement to SANA reporter.
