Cuban President extends condolence over quake victims: We stand by Syria

Havana, SANA-President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, on Tuesday extended condolence over the devastating quake-victims that hit Syria last week, hoping quick recovery for the wounded.

President Bermúdez, who visited the Syrian Embassy Chancery in Havana, wrote a brief on the condolence book, expressing his country’s full support to Syria in responding to the impacts of the earthquake.

“Cuba always stands by Syria, the Syrian and Cuban people are brothers,” the President wrote.

He stressed his country’s solidarity with relatives and families of the victims.

Syrian embassy Representatives thanked President Díaz-Canel and the Cuban people for this generous gesture.
