Snow expected over most areas in the evening, temperature lower than average

Damascus, SANA- The temperature will remain lower than average by 7 to 9 Celsius degrees as the country is being affected by a superficial high pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in all layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the weather will be between partially clear and partially cloudy in general to become cloudy in the evening and at night, and snow is expected to fall over most areas.

The wind will be southwestern with a moderate speed while the height of waves will be from low to medium.

Tomorrow, the weather will be from partially cloudy in general to cloudy sometimes over the eastern and al-Jazeera areas and local rains are expected over these areas while the temperature will slightly rise, yet it will remain from 5 to 7 degrees Celsius lower than average.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, different amounts of rainfalls were registered in several Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours as follows: 10 mm in Damascus Countryside, 5 mm in Homs, 2 mm in Sweida, 2.5 mm in Daraa and 2 mm in Quneitra.
