Moscow, SANA- Russian Defense Ministry said that US impedes restoring normal life to Syria through imposing sanctions and preventing humanitarian aid.
Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said in a statement on Wednesday commenting on statements made by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s about Washington’s concern over situation in Idleb in Syria that “The US Department of State voices its alleged concern about the suffering of civilians only when terrorists suffer a crushing defeat and citizens are liberated after a long wait. ”
The US State Department has never publicly issued a single statement to support Russia in the fight against international terrorism in Syria, Konashenkov said.
