Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise to become around average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and rain showers will fall over the coastal, the northern and al-Jazeera areas.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low to medium in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 18/8, Daraa 19/8, Homs 18/7, Lattakia 20/13, Aleppo 18/7 and Deir Ezzor 21/8.
