Cairo, SANA – Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed in a phone call with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on Tuesday efforts exerted for finding a political solution to the crisis in Syria in light of the current developments in the region.
Egyptian Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said in a statement that the two presidents agreed on continuing consultations and coordination regarding the developments in the Middle East, in addition to working on restoring stability to the region and ensuring security to its peoples.
The phone call also touched upon the efforts exerted for fighting terrorism, and a number of regional and international issues.
