Thursday weather forecast: Temperatures above average, weather relatively hot

Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue to rise to become from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by a high subtropical air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be hot relatively as the skies will be clear in general
with some scattered clouds while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya “desert” areas.

The wind will be changeable to northwesterly with a low speed and the sea waves will be low in height.

Tomorrow, the temperatures will remain from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds while the weather will be misty with dusty conditions in the
eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya areas.

The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 38/23, Daraa 36/21, Homs 35/19, Lattakia 33/22, Aleppo 37/21 and Deir Ezzor 42/26.
