Damascus. SANA – Temperatures will rise, but remain below average by 1 to 3 degrees as the country is affected by a high air pressure in all layers of atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general, warning of cold weather during the night and of the formation of ice in the mountains and fog in some inland areas.
The winds will be northwesterly of low to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 12/0, Daraa 13/01, Homs 12/01, Hama 15/-1, Lattakia 17/07, Aleppo 12/-1 and Deir Ezzor 14/-1.
