Defense Minister tours military positions in Daraa

Damascus, SANA – Upon directives from President Bashar al-Assad, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, Defense Minister Maj. Gen. Fahd Jassem al-Freij conducted a field tour on Saturday in which he inspected a number of military positions in Daraa province.

During the tour, Minister al-Freij, accompanied by officers from the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces, met with soldiers and relayed to them the greetings and salutations of President al-Assad.

Al-Freij was briefed by field commanders about missions being carried out in the area, and he inspected the readiness of soldiers and commended their efforts and their high morale.
