New York, SANA – The UN Security Council on Saturday adopted via unanimous vote the Russian draft resolution on the cessation of combat activities in Syria and launching a political process to resolve the crisis.

Earlier on Sunday, Russia’s Permanent Representative at the UN Vitaly Churkin said that Russia has distributed the draft resolution to be approved by the Security Council.
