Lavrov, Kerry discuss means of settling crisis in Syria

Moscow, SANA-Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed Tuesday with his US counterpart John Kerry means of settling the crisis in Syria.

RT quoted the Russian Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement that the two sides held talks, in a telephone call, about “issues of full normalization for the situation in Aleppo eastern neighborhoods which come to an end when evacuating the civilians and withdrawing the gunmen from the area.”

The talks also tackled ways to resume dialogue among the Syrian sides without any preconditions, according to the statement.

It added that Lavrov informed Kerry about the outcomes of the tripartite meeting held today in Moscow among foreign ministers of Russia, Iran and Turkey.
