Tehran, SANA- Chairman for the Committee for Foreign Policy and National Security of the Iranian Shura Council Alaeddin Boroujerdi stressed that librating Aleppo shows that bet on arming and supporting terrorist organizations have failed.
During his meeting with Chairman of Portuguese Parliament’s Trade and Foreign Policy Commission Sergio Sousa Pinto in Tehran on Sunday, Boroujerdi said that the USA and its allies in the region trained terrorists groups and supported them to commit heinous crimes to achieve their goals in the region, pointing out that due to this policy, tens of thousands of innocent civilians have been killed in Syria during the past five years.
He added that the wrong policy adopted by the USA and its allies was not limited to Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan but rather it expanded to Yemen and other countries.
