Hasaka Education Directorate receives 7220 school bags from UNICEF

Hasaka, SANA – Education Directorate in Hasaka province received on Tuesday 7220 school bags provided by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

Daham Fayyad, from the Directorate, said 5500 of the bags received will be distributed to first grade students at schools in the countryside of Hasaka, al-Shaddadi, al-Arisha, al-Hawl and Tal Barak areas, noting that the other 1720 bags will be distributed in the city and countryside of Qamishli.

He added that the Directorate also received 350 bags that contain sport equipment that will be distributed to schools in Hasaka and Qamishli.

Since the beginning of the current school year, the Education Directorate has distributed 15400 school bags to students in various areas.
