Damascus, SANA – Temperatures continue to rise to become 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by a high air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with a weak chance of rain showers, warning of frost on the mountainous heights and fog in most of the inland areas.
The winds will be changeable of low speed, while the sea waves will be of low amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 18/04, Daraa 17/09, Homs 16/04, Hama 18/05, Lattakia 20/12, Aleppo 17/08 and Deir Ezzor 18/09.
